Stage 1

6 comments:

  1. Post your review to your peer's individual blog as a comment to his/her draft. Your review
should critique and/or provide feedback on the problems that your peer identified during his/her
presentation as well as the following:
    a) Which three images do you think best describe/depict your peer's chosen setting?
    b) What details in the three pictures you've chosen help to depict the three (3) essential
qualities of the setting that your peer has identified?
    c) What elements of the composition in each image (e.g., foreground v. background, what's
    included v. what's excluded, close-up v. wide-angle shot, black and white v. color, sharp
contrast v. muted contrast, etc.) help to convey the character or mood of the setting?
    d) How might the images be manipulated or modified (through cropping, color enhancement,
the addition of textual or non-verbal content) to make them more effective at depicting the
    setting?
    e) What additional information do you think is needed, and which might be included in the
audio track and/or the essay, in order to describe the setting adequately?

  2. My three favorite pictures are Brittain from the outside, the area where you get your food, and the basic picture of the right dining area. I think they give a pretty good feel of Brittain. Obviously, you already know this, but when you decide on another site to pilgrimage to then you'll want to have pictures that give a sense of that journey. Otherwise, the overall tone of your pictures is really good.

  3. I think the pick of the pictures are the 2nd,7th and the 11th ones. I like the idea behind the pilgrimage and the pictures kinda highlight the important aspects of brittian- personally ive been there only a couple of times and I remember most of the pictures, so its good photography in my eyes. I like the overall idea and i think the pictures effectively capture the ideas behind the resetting.
